Thank You.
For the following reasons:
- for making me realize that time/committment/thought are way more important than “things”
- for loving me the way i am, no matter what. even when i get selfish and bitchy or completely emotional for no reason, you always stick by me.
- for believing in me.
- for teaching me things, everyday.
- for making me feel good about myself.
- for everything. EVERYTHING.
You’re amazing and i can’t wait to see how our future unfolds.
I Love You, Everyday. Always.

There is so much that I adore about you. We haven’t known each other long.
You were so charming when i first met you
I could keep no secrets, you demand honesty and won’t accept my silence.
I love how comfortable I am around you
and you aroundme
I love that we can talk about everything and anything
I love how you hold me
I love the sound of your heartbeat
I love how your hands smother mine
I love your laugh
your personailty
I love everything about you
maybe someday
you will Love me too
or if you already do….tell me…

I love you,
Not only for what you are,
But for what I am
When I am with you.
I love you,
Not only for what
You have made of yourself,
But for what
You are making of me.
I love you
For the part of me
That you bring out;
I love you
For putting your hand
Into my heaped-up heart
And passing over
All the foolish, weak things
That you can’t help
Dimly seeing there,
And for drawing out
Into the light
All the beautiful belongings
That no one else had looked
Quite far enough to find.

Variations on the word Sleep
I would like to watch you sleeping,
which may not happen.
I would like to watch you,
sleeping.
I would like to sleep
with you,
to enter
your sleep as its smooth dark wave
slides over my head
and walk with you through that lucent
wavering forest of bluegreen leaves
with its watery sun & three moons
towards the cave where you must descend,
towards your worst fear

Your beauty lies not in your eyes,
But in the fiery hollow of your chest,
Within your breast, that beating thing,
Gilt in gold and feathered wings,
On which you’ll fly towards Heaven’s skies,
Uplifted by your dreams.
Oh beautiful, oh beautiful,
My heart your heart redeems.
And if you speak of darker days,
I’ll hush you with a kiss,
For to brush my lips upon your lips
Would bask my world in brighter bliss
Than any sun or moon or star
Could shower on this earth.
Oh, beautiful, oh beautiful,
In your love I find my mind’s rebirth.

The washings’ in the machine
And I’m thinking what to do.
So I’ve decided to sit down
And write a poem – just for you.
You’re special, caring, and lovely
Sincere, gorgeous, intelligent and true
Oh, and did I forget to mention
That you’re perfect – because you’re you.
You make me so very proud
Every minute, of every day
I’m so glad to be your Wife
Throughout everything – come what may.

Spider’s Web
I watched a spider weave its web
From tiny little bits of silver thread
It grew into a masterpiece.
In awe I saw it catch a fly
And while I watched it slowly die
It became wrapped up like a present.
The spider stored his meal away
To be eaten on another day
When it hungered for a treat.
It ran out to repair a rip
That the fly had made at the end of its trip
And the spider’s new home had been broken.

The Fairy Tale Story
Little Red Riding Hood, where have you been?
“To the high tower, to paint it bright green
I met up with Cinders and Hansel & Gretel
Who joined in the painting of brickwork and metal
A little while later, Pinocchio turned up
Stirring the paint with his nose, mucky pup!
The colours, they mingled, from one to another
And, one of the Three Pigs mistook his own brother!
For a navy blue statue – oh, how we laughed!
When Buttons joined in, and then had to be bathed!
He splashed and he lathered and threw water about
Causing lots of merriment, laughing and shouts
But, Billy Goat Gruff, he got in a mood
When, soggy and messy, got the basket of food
Then, behind the tower, an orchard we found (more…)
