Out
white in white breath
rises drifts through falling
snow breath your breath
tangles
with mine joining
your fingers melt
six sides merge
into one pearl
drop clings to another
drop sliding
down branches bend
bow dip bob
flakes cling
to your skin
wind licks
your damp lips
I crawl
laughing
into the winter
warmth of your arms.
Mary Stebbins, for Keith

You - You - You
You came into my life
when I had given up hope
of ever finding true happiness.
You smiled that sweet smile,
let your true feelings show
and opened your heart to me.
You are sincere, honest and kind.
The intensity of your emotions takes my breath away.
When I hear your voice all my troubles begin to fade.
Serenity overtakes my soul.
When your arms are around me
our bond becomes stronger still.
I love being close to you.
Your lips treat me to soft kisses,
your eyes tell me of your passion,
your hands with their gentle caress.
Our bodies together are perfectly matched.
Who knew what we would discover once we began to explore?
All our sensations are exceptional, seemingly like no other.
How can this be, I wonder?

I look at this picture and it all becomes clear why i don't give up.
You, my little man are my world. I love, adore, cherish, worship everything about you. Not a day goes by where you don't make me laugh and smile.
You're almost 9 years old now, where has the time gone? I look back at baby pictures and cannot believe how big you are, you're almost as tall as me, but thats not hard is it? You are the only thing in my life i have got 100% right. I look into you're eyes and see i've achieved something. Something better than earning loads of money, better than having material things, better than anything. No money in the world can buy anything as special as you.
What makes me more proud than getting the fancy school merits is your behaviour. My son, i have people come up to me who have seen you out with Granny or seen you at your Aunties and they tell me how wonderfully polite you are, what a lovely well mannered boy you are......what MORE could a mummy ask for?
You're affectionate, kind, giving, thoughtful and you ALWAYS want to share your food with me
Stinky...i love you. I love you so much it hurts.
I am a million times proud of you.
You are everything to me.

If you weren't here
you wouldn't
feel
the brush of my lips and eyelashes
against your back, my hand,
curved around the corner
of your narrow hips, my knees, pressed
into the backs of yours.
If you weren't here
you wouldn't
hear
my breath, long and slow,
or feel its rhythm, light upon your skin,
feel how it matches yours, intake
for intake, outtake for outtake,
singing slightly, a little harmony.
If you weren't here
perhaps you wouldn't
know
how deeply I love you now,
tonight and always, how happy
I am to have this moment with you.
I love being with you, honey. Honey?
Honey? Are you here with me
or off in dreams already?
If you were here, perhaps
I'd kiss your lips, just
one more time. I'll kiss your back
instead.
Goodnight, my love.

To my beloved wife, Dorian, on the occasion of our 16th anniversary...
As Pastor John Cowan softly closed his leather bound book with a smile, he looked at us and said, "I now pronounce you husband and wife". A little twinkle in his eye betrayed his delight as he turned his attention to me and continued with, "You may now kiss the bride". I lifted her veil and did so, right there in front of the author of the little leather bound book and everyone else in the room, including my mom, Mary Ann Kelly. Life had hardened her a bit by then but not enough that she couldn't shed a few tears in disbelief that there was actually a woman on this earth who proved crazy enough to claim me as her own.
There were many other witnesses in the little mountain chapel that day – some that we could see and
