There was an expiry date on our relationship before we even started. The fact that our age gap is so wide, that geographically you’re on the other side of the world, that we both had other lives to return to once the expiry date is up, sets the full stop in motion before anything even begun. Many things have happened since we parted, and none of us can be sure of the future now. We might be seeing each other next year, or we might never, ever meet again. Being so uncertain got us afraid. And since I’m supposed to be the logical one, I’ll never say I Love You to you. So, I Love You, baby. (As much as I was your unintended, you were mine too.)
