I Must Confess…A couple of months ago you sent me a note with a heading just like this one…today, on the eve of an important milestone in our lives, I choose to use that same headline to tell you something that perhaps, you’d be astonished to read about. I just want you to know that this is more than eloquent words, that nothing has change and I do keep trying and trying to figure out what do I need to do to stop and I don’t seem to find an answer. You told me and I know you still think and care, but circumstances other than you and me prevent a beautiful and natural and exciting adventure from materializing into somethig wonderful and life long. All I know it is in God’s hands and if it is His will, there’ll be a way regardless of what others say or think or do… Truthfully and undoubtedly I cannot fool myself. I would be lying if I uttered that I don’t and I won’t lie to myself. The heart is more powerful than the mind and when it’s real like this, it has no end and no beginning. I really miss you and there are no words to describe it, and I guess missing you this much is what makes it so hard to just move on and allow someone else to help me forget you. After all, while we were together and despite of all your jealousy I never had a thought other than you and it seems that now when I do have the opportunity to get on with my life, I still can’t. I told you once that no matter with whom or where, I will always love you and will always be here for you. I never thought how powerful those words were, but I guess I really meant them then and now I can’t take them back. Anyways, happy anniversary. God bless you and fill your days with happiness and love
