i just wanted to write to wish you a good day. a day full of sunshine and light breezes. of open fields and hillsides. children running and playing with kites and couples eating a picnic lunch. the kind of day you see in advertisements and paintings. where the flowers are in bloom and the world is full of color. where everybody says hello and waves to you as you pass by even if they don’t know you. where they all have smiles of happiness on their faces. and later on, a beautiful sunset with such lovely shades of orange, yellow, and red. maybe even some purple. this is the day i wish for you. and one day….i wish to share a day like this one with you. walking hand in hand on our way to our own picnic lunch, where we can sit on the hillside and watch the children play with their kites and stay until we see the magnficent sunset. together instead of a half a world apart. for one day, we shall meet. and that day shall be full of sunshine, regardless of the weather.
