It started out back in 1992, we were both in Ms. Little’s kindergarten class at Briarwood Elementary School. That is where we were first introduced to each other.
One of my memories of that year is during show and tell. Her dad brought this huge snake to class and everyone got to pet it. Anywayz all throughout elementary school I had a crush on her but never told her. At the sametime she liked me and was very open about it by her actions. I acted as if I didnt notice her by paying close to no ounce of attention period. That turned her away of course and so we left elementary school without keeping in touch.
I had seen her once over the middle school years at a baseball field in my old neighborhood. My friend and I were riding bikes and we saw a lot of people out there so yeah we were nosey to find out who all was there and I seen her and talked for awhile but nothing really major.

Aight so a lot of time passes by fast forwarding to senior year of highschool.
I had seen her twice but neither time did I say a word. Once was at Old Navy one night. I had went there to pick up some pants and I was talking to my bestfriend over the phone and I said, “Damn that looks like a girl I use to have a crush on in school.” But I didnt want to approach her b/c I wasnt sure if she remembered me or not. The other time was at this neighborhood party and still I said nothing to her…shame on me.
So now I’m in my second year of college in March and I had went home to do somethings and I had came across a picture of her she gave me in elementary school. So i decided to look her up on facebook and sure enough I found her.
We had a few messages back and forth but nothing serious. We exchanged numbers but still didnt call each other then in May I went to a beach trip with my father and grandfather and come to find out she was there at the house beside us with her family also. The only problem was we didnt find out to the day we were about to leave.
So from that point on we started sending text messages to each other but when we found out that one of my good friends was her cousin things really lifted off and we started talking on the phone getting to know each other…again.
We eventually had some dates with each other and came to the conclusion that “we were together but then again we werent” for the whole month of July; but on August 10th we made it official and I’ve been loving every moment ever since…the good and the bad.
I feel as if it was fate/destiny that brought us together after all these years and missed chances. I love her to death and plan on spending the rest of my life with her.
The great thing about it is that she feels the same way.So this is in honor of us.
