Like the robin that awaits the spring
To sing merrily on a cherry tree
I long for the love you’d bring
Letting my heart fly high like a dove so free…

Around you, would my world revolve
You’ll be the alpha and omega of it all
I don’t have desires too tall
Just hold me if ever I begin to fall…

Like the halcyon called upon to calm the waves
By those who sail through a sea of blue maze
Stay by me in my distressed trying days
Catch my tears, comfort me and embrace

Bring me no riches
Grant me no wishes
But till the sun shines
Let your heart be just mine
