Re the Anatole France quote here that says, quote: Lovers that love truly do not write down their happiness.
How would Anatole know? He was a clever critic of his life and times but no poet.
Personal poetry is a presentiment of a unique pathway extending forward and backward in time, underlying temporary graphical picturings, vague as a whole like the true meaning of personal existence.
I would hope that this might take care of the critic Anatole, no doubt a good old boy who could have benefited from a bit more love, but Time has beat me to it. Best wishes to Anatole, the prose writer, wherever he’s at.
