To my sir

I can’t say that I’m not upset that I can’t cry.
And that when I smell my pillow and feel as though I can breath you in, I can’t say I don’t miss you.
It’s been 24 hours since I’ve heard you loved me. And whether that love is real or not my heart still craves,wants,desires it.

It’s silly to feel this strongly about something I had prepared myself not to feel. I’m young, naive and partly know that you aren’t the one for me.
But the other 99% of me wishes you’d show up here. And tell me that you’ll try, that I’ll try and together we’ll make our lives one.
Amplify my appeal, suppress my jealousy.
And pray no other love compares to what I was and am to you.

You truly do have my heart.
