It’s been one year, seven months, two weeks, three days and about 5 hours since he told me he loved me for the first time. and there have been ups and down.
i didnt really apprecaite him for all that time. i expected too much, gave too little. but he survived my craziness, and my decision to seperate, my decision to return, and my mood swings.

lately, something has changed. I’ve gone from loving him to being in love with him.

I walk and i see him coming towards me and i cant help but smile.
He stands over me and i want to drown in those eyes.
My eyes are about the level of his chin, and i just want to bury myself in that neck, on that shoulder, and never leave.
He stand behind me, not touching, and that space between us is feeling like a million miles.
He exhales, and i feel his breath on my neck, and it makes me crazy. The feeling is so intimate, and he doesnt even need to touch me, my heart is already doing backflips.

He whispers in my ear, and i am powerless. and he knows. He knows how it makes me feel. Dizzy and special. Cherished. Beautiful.

He knows. but he will never use it against me. He is so gentle, so aware of my needs, so respectful of my decisions. He doesnt take it for granted, he considers himself lucky. If he only knew what he was worth…
I feel so connected, so together, its hard to believe he’s someone completly different. that i only met him 2 years ago.

He whispers because i want him to, and with one whisper, the relationship has changed. From being the dominant one- i’ve gone to head over heels, tumbling. im willing to follow him anywhere. 60-40. who woulda thought.

Its amazing, that after one year, seven months, two weeks, three days, five hours and fifteen minutes, you can fall in love with the same guy.
